Description2:

We used to wear body paint along with necklaces.

These were like our clothes and were used by our ancestors until 1969 for community celebrations.

The paint comes from a Jenipapo fruit. Finding it is very difficult. To make handicrafts, we use coconut seeds, tucum, and babassu.

We also use armadillo shells to make necklaces. I learned to make handicrafts from my mother and grandmother.

This helps support our family. We sell on social media like Instagram. It's a very creative and valuable craft that nature provides.

We want this to be passed down through generations.
