Description2:

Hello. My name is Orlando Ortiz Montecinos. I am originally from the village Chanrrayo, in the municipality of San Agustín Acasaguastlán, in the department of El Progreso.

Two years ago, I started studying at the Nufed Center No. 14 in the Puerta de Golpe. I was motivated to continue preparing myself and become an entrepreneur, and to be able to get ahead in every circumstance that life throws at me. Now that I am studying in this establishment, I have discovered that everything is different because there are professors for each area and there is more discipline in the classrooms. But what I have loved the most is that they teach us how to carry out productive projects.

This motivated me to start my own project. At the moment, I am in charge of a caficulture (i.e., coffee) project. I achieved my project thanks to the help of my dear parents and siblings. I have been working on it for the past two years with my family. In the future, I want to be a good businessman in order to have customers in the distribution of my product.

I also have several objectives, which are: To push my family forward, to help them to generate more income, and to provide employment to the inhabitants of different communities so they can move ahead with their children and thus be able to provide them with a prosperous life.

I say goodbye to you reminding you that education is the best weapon to move our beloved Guatemala forward.
