ICT and social media are essential means for emancipation, identity cultivation and the development of a critical global and local awareness. For that reason, Comundos helps people make use of these powerful tools.
Comundos currently works with digital stories, short films of up to 3 minutes. Participants create these videos; a combination of pictures and their own voice as a voice-over. This is an accessible method that can be used when no internet connection is available. Digital stories are also very suitable for analysis and reflection on different themes and challenges.
The digital stories tell us more about certain important experiences and topics in the authors' lives. This website contains videos from various countries on various subjects. In this way, we help people from the South exchange their dreams, ideas and knowledge with people worldwide.

Comundos aims to help young adults better develop their own identity, stimulate their emancipation and grow a critical global and local awareness. We also want to give these people the ability to participate in an intercultural dialogue, so that their challenges can resonate worldwide. We do this by letting both students and educators become acquainted with ICT, and by teaching them how to share their stories digitally with countries worldwide, and Belgium in particular.
